Blue Dolphin Swim School has been teaching children to swim since 1986. With the new state of the art centre being purpose built in 2001, the school has gone from strength to strength.

- 2 pools, each specifically designed for teaching babies through to squad level.
- Fully indoor facility, with year round air and water temperature control, water at 32 degrees.

The People

Owner Lesley has a lifetime of experience in swimming education, from babies 4 months to adults. The team of qualified teachers are handpicked for their abilities to relate to children. The love of teaching kids is a pre-requisite to work at Blue Dolphin Swim Centre.

The class sizes are small to maximise the effectiveness of the learning experience.

On top of the basic teachers qualification, all our teachers undergo the additional comprehensive, Blue Dolphin Swim School training, which is continuously reviewed.

In addition, Deck Supervisors are readily available at all times to provide a liason between teachers, parents and children.

There is an emphasis on progressive skill development backed by incentive certificates to reward children for each level of achievement. Every child is assessed each term.

A specialised computer program tracks each child’s progress, enabling smooth transition through the levels.
