What to Bring to Swimming lessons:

  • Swimming costume ( board shorts and rash vests not recommended )
  • Towel
  • Goggles
  • Swim cap ( not compulsory but recommended ) can be purchased from the swim centre
  • Hair bands for students with long hair
  • Swimming nappy under the age of 3yrs (can be purchased from the swim centre )
  • Appropriate clothing and footwear to leave the centre

Swim School enrollment and class booking:

  • If your child is over the age of 4 yrs they will need to be assessed by a qualified Instructor so they can be placed in the appropriate class level.( free of charge, can be organised over the phone )
  • Lessons must be paid in advance and prior to your child swimming( see payment options )
  • Once payment has been received your child has a permanent booking in the school and will be carried over from term to term subject to financial commitment.
  • At the end of week 9 ( each school term ) if you have not financially committed to the following term, your position will become available for new enrollments.
  • 2 week cancellation fee applies.
  • When moving your booking day, fees may need to be adjusted according to the number of lesson offered on that day.

Payment Options:

  • Pay fees in full by the end of week 8 to have the opportunity for a chance to win one in six complimentary swimming terms
  • Part payment: pay a deposit by the end of week 8 and the balance on week 1 of the new swim term.
  • Weekly Plan: Pay a deposit by the end of week 8 and a weekly amount to pay the balance by week 5 of the new swim term.

Absences and Make-ups:

  • There is one complimentary make-up per term per child allowed with prior notification of absence.
  • There is no make-up for a missed make-up lesson.
  • A missed lesson is not refundable and cannot be credited to the next term.
  • Children missing other lessons due to illness are required to supply a doctor's certificate to qualify for further make-ups.
  • Make-up classes must be redeemed within the term of the absence

Assessment and Supervisors:

  • Grading is done on weeks 3 and 4 of each term ( ongoing individual assessments are carried out via the childs' teacher)
  • Pool Deck Supervisors are available at all sessions to answer your questions about your child's progress.
  • To accommodate grade progression and seasonal changes, class times may change with prior notification.
