The Blue Dolphin Approach To Squad Swimming Children will learn advanced swimming techniques in all four strokes as well as competitive racing methods. The survival component includes advanced treading water, survival and safety skills. Their ability to enjoy swimming long distances is extended, which will strengthen their aerobic capacity, and establish fitness patterns that will apply for a lifetime. The children are motivated to achieve their best, which builds confidence and shows them how to work at self-development. What Your Child Will Gain From The Squad Experience
The Teachers And Coaches Co-owner Marc, has developed the squad program over decades. It has evolved from interstate and overseas programs and incorporates the latest techniques from the Institute of Sport. Our squad class sizes are small, ranging from 6 to 16 at the Elite level, maximizing the effectiveness of the learning and coaching experience. The team of teachers and coaches are dedicated to the technical development of their swimmers whilst embracing a fun and friendly environment. Our team undergo The Blue Dolphin Swim School squad coaching program on top of the basic teachers qualification. Teaching methods are reviewed regularly. The Squad Program Our aim is for your child to learn great social skills, improve their physical fitness and evolve their swimming technique to an elite level. Other areas of development that are enhanced through the squad program are leadership skills, teamwork, self discipline, confidence and strong friendships all whilst experiencing an ongoing process of achievement. This is all achieved in a 45 minute or 1 hour session, once or twice a week with great results. Once your child has comfortably developed the skills designated for their level, they will receive a certificate and progress to the next level. All children are assessed every term.
